We very much appreciate the 2,700+ people who invested their time and talents with us in 2007.

Please know that each area of volunteer service is special and unique, and may operate under its own requirements and guidelines.

We highly recommend that you follow the step-by-step process below to get started:

Learn about the Mission by investing time on our webpage. We want you to be well informed about the many facets of the ministry.
Learn about our specific volunteer needs by location and prayerfully consider how you can help based on those specific needs.
Realistically consider how you may invest your gifts of time and talents as you complete the appropriate online volunteer application. Ideally, we would like to have all current and future volunteers complete an application.
Please be patient and flexible with us as we attempt to engage individuals, families, churches and businesses to help make a difference.

Online Volunteer Applications & Resources:

Join us for a "tour and talk" - meet members of our team; learn more about what we do; tour the shelters, receive printed materials, etc. all in about one hour. Tours are scheduled on an as needed basis. Prospective volunteers including group leaders should definitely attend.
