Capital Campaign

The purpose of Boise Rescue Mission Ministries' Capital Campaign is to remodel the River of Life Rescue Mission in Boise, and to build 12 units of transitional housing in Nampa. The transitional apartments are completed and ready for occupation. Now, we urgently need your help to complete the remodel of the River of Life Rescue Mission!
The goal of this campaign is to raise $3.8 million dollars.  Currently, we have raised $3.1 million.  M.J. Murdoch Charitable Trust has pledged to match all contributions to the Capital Campaign, up to $400,000.00, so your donation will count double!
If you would like to contribute financially, please call Bill Roscoe at 343-2389, or send him an email at revbill@boiserm.org.  To donate now, you can click on the Donate Now link to the right and designate your donation for the Capital Campaign.

Thank you!

Nampa Next Step Housing Construction Project...

On September 22nd, the Mission officially opened twelve units of transitional housing next to the Lighthouse Rescue Mission. These apartments will provide a safe, stable place to live for graduates as they find jobs and rebuild their lives free of addictions, with the caring staff of the Mission around to guide and help them through the process. Three New Life Program Graduates are already living there!

Adopt-an-Apartment!

The construction is finished, the furniture is bought, and now all they need is...You! These apartments need the personal touch of someone to supply the small but necessary items that make a house a home; sheets, towels, silverware and toasters! If you would like to help make a Next Step apartment ready for a New Life Program graduate, please call Glenn Compton at 389-9840, ext. 25.

Click here for a list of items needed at the Next Step apartments.

These twelve units of housing will house single men and women as well as families.

The apartments are now ready for the first grateful occupants to move in and start moving on!

River of Life Purchase and Remodel...

The River of Life, formerly the city-run shelter Community House, right now provides space to shelter 140 guests, but with remodeling to add bathrooms, showers, and a working kitchen, its capacity can be greatly increased.

Here are the blueprints of Boise Rescue Mission Ministries' intended remodel of the building:

Construction is almost complete on the new kitchen!  Join us on Saturday, October 27th at 2:00 to open the new kitchen for use!  The River of Life will be open for tours from 2:00 - 5:00.
